Tokyo Mental Health welcomes Yoriko Nishi, L.M.F.T. to our expanding team of counselors!
Yoriko is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a member of the California Association of Marriage & Family Therapist.
Yoriko has experience in working with all ages from children to older adults with depression, trauma, substance misuse, ADD, ADHD, PTSD, adjustment disorder, anxiety disorders, behavioral problems, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorders.
Yoriko uses cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, object relations, seeking safety, interpersonal therapy, play/art therapy and solution focused therapy. In Addition, Yoriko also had taken a role as a Lead Clinical Supervisor at the Community Mental Health Center for years in USA to train licensed and unlicensed clinicians for clinical growth and has a private practice in Los Angeles.
